Spark Coverage Cup
Media relations is at the heart of a successful campaign and our team take great pride in beating their colleagues to win the weekly Spark Coverage Cup vote.
The winning piece of coverage isn’t just about circulation or credibility. A great business national or broadcast piece doesn’t always beat trade coverage – outcomes are key. How effectively was the client’s message communicated? What was the engagement like? Did it result in leads?
While earned coverage is now only part of what we do, the impact of what we deliver is often why clients choose to work with us in the first place. It’s why 80% of our clients come through referral and why some of our clients have stayed with us for over ten years.
Below are some of our previous highlights:
Coverage Cup 06/12/2024
As we come towards the end of the year, our client coverage shows no sign of slowing down. We’ve been working on some particularly interesting security-focused stories – including a new Security Profession report from CIISec. The report, warning that stress is keeping cybersecurity professionals awake at night, was covered by the likes of Infosecurity Magazine, Computer Weekly, IT Pro and Beta News. Keeping on the security theme, our Qodea team hijacked the news that Google is making multi-factor authentication mandatory for all cloud services users, securing coverage in Capacity.
Ivalua commented on the impact of the US election result, in a Procurement Magazine piece about how we may see a greater escalation of tariffs and 'Buy American' provisions. Taking a more global view, Ivalua also warned about how defence supply chain complexity poses risks in periods geopolitical instability, securing coverage in CPO Strategy.
Agentic AI has been much discussed at the end of this year, and our Couchbase team placed two bylined articles exploring this topic with Tech Radar Pro and Tech Monitor. Elsewhere, Onnec’s in-depth piece focusing on overcoming operational inertia in AI-driven data centres was published in Tech Radar Pro, while Sagacity warned about the risks of AI bias in a byline for Insurance Post. Meanwhile, Martin Banks wrote a detailed diginomica piece outlining how business process automation is becoming ever more complex with the addition of AI, and how Camunda can help businesses ‘orchestrate the orchestrators’, after attending the client’s New York.
Last but not least, the Quadient team has been really busy. Firstly, pitching the news that Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers will be installed outside Co-Op stores, securing hits with the likes of Internet Retailing, Post and Parcel and Courier News. We also secured a video interview at Parcel and Post Expo, demonstrating how Quadient lockers enable customers to pick up and drop off packages. Finally, in a bylined article for Business Reporter, Quadient highlighted the importance of universal document accessibility - ensuring low-vision and non-sighted users are not left out from digital content and communications.
