Spark Coverage Cup

Media relations is at the heart of a successful campaign and our team take great pride in beating their colleagues to win the weekly Spark Coverage Cup vote.

The winning piece of coverage isn’t just about circulation or credibility. A great business national or broadcast piece doesn’t always beat trade coverage – outcomes are key. How effectively was the client’s message communicated? What was the engagement like? Did it result in leads?

While earned coverage is now only part of what we do, the impact of what we deliver is often why clients choose to work with us in the first place. It’s why 80% of our clients come through referral and why some of our clients have stayed with us for over ten years.

Below are the recent highlights:

Coverage Cup 04/07/2025

It’s been a scorching few weeks – and we’re not just talking about the weather. First up, the Bentley Systems team turned up the heat with national coverage in the Express, after pitching comment warning that pothole-ridden roads could send the UK’s driverless vehicle ambitions off course. Meanwhile, the Ivalua team secured coverage in Raconteur, with its recent shadow spending report informing an explainer on how greater visibility over what they’re spending can reveal value when budgets are tight.

On the cybersecurity front, CIISEC appeared in IT Pro after we pitched comment on the rising threat of disinformation campaigns. Boomi appeared in the same publication with comment on how CISOs can stay ahead of app security risks as AI adoption grows. Meanwhile, HP’s latest Threat Insights Report made a splash in TechRadar Pro, warning holidaymakers about the dangers of malicious Wi-Fi networks and fake travel apps. Finally, SentinelOne secured coverage in SC Magazine with feature comment advising how retailers can counter the recent surge in high street cyberattacks.

AI remains high on the agenda for many of our clients. The Boomi team secured coverage in Business Reporter with a byline exploring the risks of agentic AI and its potential impact on scalability in enterprise environments. Elsewhere, the WalkMe team hijacked the UK Spending review, securing coverage in Silicon warning the Government’s investment in AI skills will not bring an economic benefit unless businesses make it easy for employees to adopt AI at work. Meanwhile, Camunda gained customer coverage in TechInformed, with La Poste Group discussing how process orchestration is helping to boost efficiency.

We also had a strong showing across finance, including Sagacity securing two pieces of coverage with The Fintech Times, with a feature on the biggest insurtech trends reshaping the sector. Sagacity also had a bylined article published in Insurance Edge on how to use Customer Lifetime Value to drive loyalty, and SaaScada appeared in Fintech Magazine, exploring how credit unions can innovate while maintaining their community roots.
