With the brighter months finally here, we’re embarking on our next Spark Steps Challenge.
Across the course of May, we’ll be logging steps on our phones and smartwatches, working towards a goal of 4,500 miles. If we hit the full distance, Spark will donate £750 to a charity chosen by the person who walks the furthest.
Last year, Dom walked more than 600,000 steps, splitting our donation between two causes close to his heart, The Royal London Hospital and the Samaritans. We walked 4,000 miles, covering the length of the Silk Road, with the team logging steps from the Seven Sisters cliffs on the south coast to the Scottish Highlands!
The question now is whether Dom can defend his title, or if someone else will go the distance this time around. We’ll also be making the most of our central London location by going on some group lunchtime walks, exploring some of the sights and sounds of the city while racking up steps together.
Keep your eyes on our social channels for updates on how the team is getting on.
